All I know is that ST3 is currently working again, for which I'm grateful. So, I don't know how it happened, since I've never used the standalone mode once. Went back to the old project and it opened with the ST3 presets loaded, and they played. ASIO, when chosen grayed out the fields, but I was able to select my interface in the device dropdown and suddenly everything was Archie.

and I found the audio driver was set to direct sound. 3 download, sample tank importieren, sampletank failed to load instrument. A simple preset had huge latency and a multi took 20 or more seconds to load. Should you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact a. I then tried an old project the multis stuck in their load windows even though the project had loaded. ST3 rebuilt the preset libraries on opening in Reaper.īut, it balked at opening a multi - just locked and froze Reaper.

Even better, it applied the serial and authorization so I didn't have to climb the stairs and get to the net and for another license from IK. The installer correctly located my preset directory. I uninstalled ST2 and ST3 and reinstalled the last version of ST3. I'm not going to celebrate quite yet but I think it's all ok now. Just got back from YVR and carried on with sampleTank. you'll find those by rt clk on the plugin name in the FX Browser I did set it to run in a Separate process and also to 'Buggy Plugin Compatibility mode' I still have ST2 and it does not seem to crash.ĮDIT: I just loaded up ST3 all again and it is running without a crash now. and you can copy and paste them as text so the reaper DEV's can have a look. You can get those reports if you clk the show details arrow on the crash window.

I can provide specs and test some more but I was wondering if there is a troubleshooting sequence I could follow to define what the real problem could be.

Today I updated both sampletank and the libraries - my presets all imported and I was messing with sounds on a single instance of sampletube and it crashed Reaper again. I was able to load and freeze the tracks without playing and we carried on as an aside my cpu use seemed really high - I've never paid the meter any attention but it would often jump in the high 70% or more. Sampletube crashed the party when loaded and play was pressed. I loaded the project with fx offline and worked my way through. One day I installed version 5.979 and the song I was working on the day before refused to open. I am remixing a bunch of projects as old as two years and could open them, change fx, edit and all and save as a new project at whim.

After the update Reaper crashes when I open projects which have sampletank tracks. Perhaps someone can give me a hand with this.īefore the last Reaper version everything worked as it should.
